This is a very unique wine. It's somewhere between a Pinot Noir and Rosé. That is because 2020 had big issues with smoke taint. The smoke was in and on the skins. Evening Land didn't want to risk tainting their wine, so they only macerated it for a very short time, so that the smoke couldn't get into the juice. The result is an utterly charming wine, that is more substantial than a rosé, but quite a bit lighter than a Pinot Noir. They recommend you drink it chilled, and we agree. Oh, and it's half the price of their regular Pinot. This is 100% estate grown at the iconic Seven Springs vineyard in the Eola-Amity hills. Buy it before it all disappears. Perfect for summer BBQ, salmon and so many other things.
