Evoking the rich Italian tradition of digestivo, our Vino Amaro represents years of archival research, the finest ingredients, and patience. Young walnuts, rhubarb root, and an array of aromatic and bittering agents are steeped in brandy and Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Five years of aging yields a complexity and depth reminiscent of the wines of the Italian Alps and Piedmont. Taken straight or with a splash of soda, it’s an ideal close to a great meal – herbaceous, even medicinal, and bold. Blend with bourbon or brandy into new versions of old classics like a Manhattan, Paper Plane, or the Hanky Panky. The adventurous may enjoy it with Calvados, Pisco, or Mezcal.
