Perfectionist Alain Brumont is one of the finest wine makers alive today. He is solely responsible for redefining the wines from Madiran of South West France in the 1980's and 1990's, chiefly through his wines made at Chateau Bouscasse and Chateau Montus. He is a passionate believer in 'terroir' and the majority of his wines are organic; indeed some are biodynamic. This particular white wine comes from the Cotes de Gascogne and, as the label suggests, is made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and the lesser known Gros Manseng grape.

Light golden in colour with zesty scents of apples, lemons and ripe peaches. On the palate mineral and intense with flavours of grapefruit and pine nuts with a hint of honey. A crisp finish makes this an excellent aperitif. Serve with grilled sea bass, garlic chicken or Asian style pork with a spinach stir-fry.
