Devona - Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley 2020

Our goal with this wine, as with all of our wines, is to over deliver with quality at the given price. Generally speaking, our distributors offer this to only on-premise accounts for a wine-by-the-glass selection.

To produce this wine, we select, from all of our Cabernet lots those barrels that have softer tannins and a more gentle structure. We don’t go outside of our usual vineyard sources to purchase lower priced fruit to make this wine. Instead, these are the barrels with an overall approachability earlier than our vineyard-designated wines, blended together. The resulting blend combines, White Bluffs, Horse Heaven Hills, and Red Mountain AVA’s.

This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, with classic Cabernet characters. It is a big, sophisticated, approachable wine with excellent density, complexity, and structure. Lush, dark, and brooding fruits combine with tobacco and spice, cocoa and coffee, and finish with a silky mouthfeel.
