Savennières – Chamboureau, heritage and depth
Produced on a historic plot surrounding Château de Chamboureau, east of the commune of Savennières, this cuvée embodies the soul of the Loire terroir. Rooted in the schist soils typical of the appellation, Chamboureau draws a rare intensity and depth from this ancient soil.
This dry white wine, regularly distinguished for its quality, seduces with a soft attack , an enveloping roundness and a remarkable aromatic persistence . The aromas evolve between ripe yellow fruits and, with time, towards more complex exotic notes , bringing a gourmet richness without ever weighing down the structure.
Full-bodied and balanced, Chamboureau elegantly accompanies refined dishes such as creamy poultry, noble fish or mature washed-rind cheese.
It was awarded the prestigious score of 97/100 by the American critic James Suckling , praising its finesse, complexity and exceptional aging potential.
