Let's keep the aged wine theme going with a decade-in-bottle, Cabernet Sauvignon-driven tranche from one the Haut Medoc's original Cru Bourgeois properties - Chateau Tour du Haut Moulin:
"The 2014 Tour du Haut-Moulin has a delightful, perfumed and mineral-scented bouquet with touches of potpourri infusing the black cherry and cassis fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, impressive depth and freshness, a welcomed saline element washing ashore on the finish. This will need a couple of years to mellow -- but great potential. Drink 2018-2028. 90 points." - Neal Martin, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 10/16
...sounds delicious?
Yes - In our glasses today, Logan, Cameron, and I were looking at a perfectly mature Medoc, with a ton going on aromatically (both primary and tertiary elements), along with a medium-bodied, triple-silky finish. Medium-bodied might be an exaggeration - This is most definitely NOT La Tour Carnet, which is the whole point. In other words, your clients who freaked over the aged Chateau Pierbone Haut Medoc from last year will be coming back for seconds and thirds of this until your stocks are wiped out.
So...
This is a "Live from Wine Paris" offer, so we have to keep things crazy, right?
...our friend Jade at Sobovi is setting you up at half-price as a Wine Paris inspired "thank you" (she was the magic woman behind the Pierbone if you were wondering)!
