This wine is the result of a project started by winemaker Enrico Marcato in 2012 and now continued in collaboration with winemaker Mirko Sella. It’s a wine crafted from two different grapes from the best of Verona and Vicenza using appassimento techniques (basically drying grapes first and then fermenting them). A medium bodied red that is deep red in colour with playful flavours of red berry fruits, damson and coffee. Lovely and soft, yet structured with a lingering finish. Best drunk with grilled meats or cheeses.
