From the same block I have used since 2011 this 100% Wadensvil clone Pinot Noir was aged 11-months in 33% New French oak with the balance in 1 and 2yr old barrels. The lifted, and perfumy aromatics of the Wadensvil clone are on full display and only excentuated by the suave elegance of the 2017 vintage. With all the underlying structure and intensity that Shea brings to the table this wine once again delivers power and elegance in an impeccably balanced package with a long finish.

Limpid Ruby Red. A highly complex bouquet evokes fresh red and blue fruits, exotic spices and incense, as mineral and floral nuances build in the glass. Delivers suave black raspberry, bitter cherry, candied rose and spice cake flavors that show superb definition and spicy lift. Finishes with outstanding, floral-driven persistence, polished tannins and reverberating red fruit character.
